A Transformative Beginning in Ugwachanya, Tanzania

Since 2021, we have partnered with the Province of Alto Adige, an Italian voluntary organization and local Tanzanian collaborators to launch our first pilot project in Ugwachanya. This initiative marks the start of our journey to bring education and opportunity to underserved communities.

Our first school project, Rosemary Primary School, is a beacon of hope, set to provide education to 360 children by 2027.

The school provides more than education—it serves as a sanctuary for all orphans from the Tosamaganga Center, offering safe accommodations in two dormitories with capacity for up to 100 children.

In January 2023, the first students starting going to school, welcoming children from the Orphanage Center and the surrounding village. By 2024, the school has grown to accommodate 74 students, including 20 orphans and 54 children from nearby communities.

Owned and managed by our local partners, the Teresine Sisters, Rosemary Primary School stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, offering not just education but a brighter future for all who step through its doors.

Our school is thoughtfully designed to nurture both learning and well-being and includs the following facilities:
